Yellow Flower

Water was shining
I was riding a boat
It was a warm spring
I was looking at the waterfall

Water was swooshing and clinking,
Like whispering to my ears
Hitting the rocks and whacking the waves,
Like forcing me to go through the waterfall,
I went through the waterfall

Splash,
Then I found a small cave inside it,
A small, dampish cave
I looked around, feeling lukewarm water,
Imagining living here romantically
Then someone banged underneath my boat

Bang, Bang, Bang,
I gasped
It was a guy
He was almost drowning in the water
I gasped again

I hold his arm tight and pulled him into my boat
Thump-
I could feel him catching his breath hard
I caught my breath hard with him and looked at him
He was looking at me, too,
With his gleaming yellow eyes
His eyes were just like a moon, as I say.

His wet hair made him more attractive,
I just suddenly fell in love with him
We played in the cave,
Every single day,
With a sound of waterfall swooshing,
We talked, talked, and talked.

One day, I went down the street
In a way going to get a boat to go to the cave
People said the princess of the kingdom was born

And the man started not to come
I couldn’t see his yellow eyes for quite a long time
I waited and waited

On my tenth wait, the man finally visited the cave
He gave me a yellow flower,
Just as shiny as his eyes
And said it will keep my beauty forever
Then kissed me,
Then said he will never comeback

He said his baby was born
Who has long, beautiful, yellow hair
With cute, little, pinky cheek,
Who was born by the yellow flower

I felt melancholic
I started to burst out into tears
I wanted to see how beautiful the baby was,
And find the reason why the man kept saying that the baby is filled with beauty
But my tears just wetted my heart
Not my cheek

I just stared at him
He left, but I still stared at his back

That was the moment when I decided to be an evil woman.
That was the moment when I became a Mother Gothel.
